HDPE PIPE (IS:14333-1996)

BERLIA PIPES are also available in 63 to 450 mm in PN 2.5, PN 4, PN 6, PN 8, PN 10, PN12.5 and PN 16 pressure class. These Hdpe Pipes are Manufactured as per IS 14333:1996 and are available in 6 meter length. The pipes are joined by butt welding, thus absolutely watertight. These pipes are most advantageous for undulating terrains.

The Strong, Reliable, Cost-Effective Solution For Drainage. It is a fact: the next century of storm water technology and solutions is not written in concrete. Over the past several years the specification and use of HDPE corrugated pipe for storm water& drainage has increased dramatically based on factors such as the pipe's strength, durability, joint integrity and long-term cost-effectiveness. Results show that forward-thinking municipalities are realizing the future of the storm water management relies on the best technology. HDPE pipe is manufactured from the highest quality materials and is the most technologically advanced product available to move storm water and wastewater. HDPE pipe is the proven, reliable, cost-effective and safe solution for your long-term drainage needs.

Other than the properties that were highlighted for BERLIA Hdpe Pipes, earlier some additional properties that make these pipes suitable for conveyance of sewerage and industrial effluents are:

  • Non-corrosive and chemically inert (refer charts in enclosed Tech Folio for details).
  • Abrasion resistance.
  • Flexibility in selection, while lower pressure ratings pipes e.g. PN 2.5 & PN 4 can be considered for gravity mains, pipes of pressure ratings PN 6 to PN 16 are better suited for pressure mains in lieu of CI/DI pipes.
  • Favorable mechanical properties including toughness.
  • Greater burst strength due to greater flexibility.
  • Improved fluid flow area due to smoother inner surface.
  • Greater longevity.

  • High-Density Polyethylene Water Pressure Pipes are suitable for municipal and industrial transmission systems for potable water, sewer, drain, mining, irrigation, and reclaimed water.

Berlia's high-density polyethylene water and sewer pipe is available in 1⁄2-inch to 20-inch diameters.
The product’s physical properties make it applicable to open-trench, horizontal directional drilling, pipe-bursting and slip-lining installations. It can be manufactured with the color striping to identify application, such as a blue stripe for potable water, a green stripe for sewer applications and a purple stripe for reclaimed water.

HDPE pipe for water and sewer is manufactured for excellent performance and a long life expectancy.

    • Its butt-fused joints eliminate potential leak points, common at 10 to 20 feet with ductile iron pipe, for a zero leak rate.
    • Highly resistant to corrosion and degradation, recent studies conclude it will last at least 100 years.
    • Its light weight and flexibility make it easy to install, eliminate the need for fittings required with directional changes, and make it highly suitable for use in earthquake-prone areas.
